PAC HV is high viscosity polyanionic cellulose and low molecular weight, low viscosity type polymer designed specifically for use in solids-laden, water-based drilling fluids, which can effectively reduces the filtration rate of many water-based drilling fluids, especially solids-laden fluids, without causing significant increases in viscosity or gel strengths.

Drilling fluid Cellulose gum's Function:
1 . CMC-containing mud makes a well wall a thin, hard and low-permeability filter cake to reduce water loss.
2 . Adding CMC into slurry will endow the drill with low initial gel strength, making the slurry give off the gas inside and abandoning the waste into the slurry pit.
3 . Slurry with CMC is seldom affected by the bacterium and requires no high PH value or corrosion resistant.
4 . The wall-cleaner treatment chemicals with CMC can resist the contamination of all kinds soluble salts.
5 . Slurry with CMC has excellent stability and will still reduce the filtration loss under 150℃ or above.
